Found this recipe for vegan icecream here.
Its an interesting and far more developed/technical recipe than I have seen elsewhere.
1 cup cashews (no need to soak)
1 1/2 cup water
1/3 cup raw agave
1/4 tsp salt (+/-)
1/3 cup raisins (This is the secret ingredient that imparts the rich/buttery flavor)
1 vanilla bean
1-2 Tbsp cacao butter or coconut oil or [...]
I saw this strange recipe while StumbleUpon-ing around the nets, I haven’t tried it out but it sounds kinda interesting and its vegan to boot! (well…possibly not the choc tortilla’s but they sound kinda blergh anyways.)
